Walk for Diabetes 2012
Our 17th Annual Walk in aid of The Diabetes and Endocrinology Centre of Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital, Crumlin will take place this year on Sunday, 16th of September. The event has raised much needed funds for the Centre and is a most enjoyable event. Last year’s Walk raised €190K with just under 90 participants.
- We meet at Citywest Hotel, Saggart, Co Dublin at 8a.m for breakfast.
- Group photograph at 9.00a.m
- Group leave by coach for Wicklow Mountains at 9.30a.m.
- Distance of walk is 12klm approx...
- BBQ at half way point.
- Coach collects walkers at 4.30p.m.
- Arrive back at Citywest Hotel at 5.30p.m.
- Facilities for showering and changing.
- Wine reception at 6.30p.m.
- Prize giving at 7.30p.m.
- Dinner at 8.30p.m.
- Entertainment at 9.45 till 11p.m.
- Sponsorship per Adult is €1000
- Sponsorship for Juniors is €500
